It’s been at least a month now since the whole gaming world got (and fell instantly in love with) Bethesda’s Fallout 4. But we can’t always be playing the game, right? I mean, there’s school, and work, and all that stuff keeping us away. For those times, Fallout Shelter gives you your quick daily Fallout fix via mobile, and the companion app just got an update.
Bethesda knows that dogs and cats are essential even to those who live in the wasteland – heck, you can even get a companion dog in the main game. Now dogs and cats are a fixture in the vault of Fallout Shelter, although we hope these cute animals don’t turn your vault citizens into soft, kitten or puppy-hugging people.
Other elements of this update include new romantic dialogue options between vault dwellers – we’d like to see how popular that becomes. Now you will also have the ability to kick out lazy vault citizens who don’t help the general population. Also, the new “see all” feature allows you to get a better view of your inventory.
The update also includes small performance tweaks and optimizations so that you can enjoy managing your vault and its dwellers. Hopefully the app doesn’t make you forget that you have a whole game waiting for you to be played on your console as well.
