Fallout Shelter is one of those games you didn’t think you’d enjoy playing but then eventually you find yourself addicted to its Tiny Tower meets SIMS sensibility. As the celebrate their 1st anniversary, the developers are bringing their biggest update to the app yet, allowing you to go on quests, giving you more control over your dwellers, and taking on new enemies as well. They’ve also decided to bring the game to the PC audience and it’s now available as a free download on bethesda.net.

But going back to the Android game, you now have a new Quest system, where you can assemble a group of dwellers and bring them outside the vault to go on quests to abandoned buildings and vaults, and if you play Fallout 4, some of the places will be quite familiar to you. Once you’ve assembled your team, you let them go on quests to uncover loot and fight against new enemies like Radscorpions, ghouls, and other powerful bosses they will encounter.

The update also lets you have more control over your Dwellers’ actions when they’re involved in fights. You will be able to direct their attacks, choose which enemy you want them to attack, and also play mini-games for a critical hit. You will be able to get new weapons that will be useful for melees, like baseball bats, swords, etc. If you feel like your dwellers have been gone too long, you’ll be able to recall them.

You can update your Fallout Shelter app to be able to enjoy these new features and if you haven’t played the app yet, you should give it a try by downloading it from the Google Play Store for free, with in-app purchases.
