If you haven’t been maximizing your use of Facebook Groups to communicate with family, friends, and colleagues, then the new app may make you use it more this time. The top social network has just introduced a new Facebook Groups app that allows people to share faster with their groups.
Facebook is bringing the Groups feature outside of the main network. This is similar to what the company did to Messages now with the Facebook Messenger app. No need to go to the Facebook app if you need to check your Groups. Launch the new Facebook Groups and start connecting with your contacts.
The Facebook Groups app is best for those people who use Groups all the time to communicate. Usually, these are students, family, a group of friends spread out all over the world but want to connect regularly.
Facebook Groups app shows all your Facebook Groups in one location. Those opened frequently are shown at the top. You can easily move between each group with a simple tap. If you want to make a new group, simply click on the Create a Group area.
The notification area allows you to control which notifications you want to see on the app. If you want to join more Facebook Groups, you can also check the Discover tab to see the suggested groups. Facebook will base the results on the FB Pages you’ve liked and other groups your contacts are part of, as well as, your location.
