If you’re a proper gamer, you will at least have heard of the Borderlands franchise. The game has made us all believers in a fun and engaging story-based first person shooter again. The storylines are unique, the characters are ones you definitely won’t forget. Telltale Games transferred most of this hilarity and fun to “Tales from the Borderlands”, a story-slash-game that we featured a few months back. Now Episode 2 is here, and it’s packing some serious fun.
Episode 2 is called “Atlas Mugged” and it continues to follow the story of Rhys and Fiona – unlikely partners in a heist gone wrong in the familiar dystopian terrain of Pandora. There has been a lot of critical acclaim for this new episode, and it seems like the fun level is pushed a couple of notches up from the already fun first episode. Gamespot says that the game is a “blitz from one high-energy scene to another”. Entertainment Weekly says that to miss out on this game would be to skip “one of Telltale’s strongest” products ever.
The gameplay is pretty easy, given that Telltale Games has had much experience moving stories along via a mobile interface. Taps here, swipes there – it’s all pretty easy to play, but the story is what you’re in it for, and it is quite good.
If you trusted the initial game and splurged USD$15.00 for all the episodes, it seems that you just might have hit the jackpot on this. If you haven’t you still have time to finish the first episode and wait for the next one which will be available on Android pretty soon. Check out the download link below.
