XDA member tchebb has had the working 3-10 DROID Incredible kernel for quite some time and decided it was time to release to the world. Now DROID Incredible users can download a kernel that will bring true multitouch to their device.
After hearing that the DROID Incredible’s screen was far better than the Nexus One’s, tchebb wondered why it would could only handle a maximum of two touches. The result of this curiosity was a new kernel that supports 3-10 fingers. He has been running this kernel for about a month and hasn’t noticed any ill effects. However, he does admit to it getting a bit buggy past 5 finger gestures.
You can download and find instructions for the kernel at this thread.
