Android users have a new version of the Dolphin browser to check out right now. If you are using a device running Android 5.0, this is the Dolphin version you want. Support for Android 5.0 is built into the latest version of Dolphin, version 11.3.

Android 5.0 compatibility means Material Design is now integrated. Performance and speed enhancements were also made to the browser that the developers say are noticeable even if users run the Jetpack add-on on some sites.

Security was also improved on this version of the browser with warnings for sites running SSL 3.0 as the secure protocol. Other features include the ability to disable double tap to zoom on websites that use Flash.

That feature is designed to make it easier to read news or watch video on smaller screens. Users can also choose to open links using Dolphin Express browser or a third party app like Google Maps. Lots of other bug fixes and improvements also went into the new version of the browser.
