When you’re having trouble with any of your devices, don’t you just dread the moment when you’d have to lower your pride and call the customer service hotline? And when it’s taking you forever to connect to them, don’t you just want to throw your phone at whatever gadget is causing you grief? Yes you can search online for solutions, but how reliable are people on forums? If you have a Samsung printer, a new app called SPDS may finally help you solve your problems.
The Smart Printer Diagnostic System is the first mobile app that will help you troubleshoot your printer failures through diagnostic tools, as well as images and videos, as long as your printer is a Samsung MultiXpress model. No need to call up any confusing hotline. All you would need is to follow the visual guides that have been created specifically for each of the models.
The app actually connects to the SPDS server where all the service manuals, technical videos, and all other information for the printers are. When there is a failure in the printing, the app will receive an error message from the specific connected printer. Then the app will identify and analyze the issue, then give you a step-by-step guide. And even if you don’t have much (or actually any) technical knowledge, there are also guides in fixing those hopefully minor issues.
You can download the SPDS app either from the Galaxy Apps or the Google Play Store for free. It is available in 51 countries and the content has been translated into 9 languages.
