Just last week Disney revealed that they were going to release a new game for Android devices called Magic Kingdoms, a theme park game that will feature your favorite characters and places from Disney movies through the years. Now, the game is available at the Google Play Store and we get more details about what the game is all about and whether or not your favorite animated characters will be making an appearance when you play the game on your smartphone or tablet.
Once again, Maleficent is the bad guy in this game (the original, not the Angelina Jolie version) as she has cast an evil spell over the kingdom, and naturally, she took away all the powerful magic that might bring her down. Now your goal is to bring the magic back by creating the best theme park ever, and various Disney characters will come to your rescue. Some of the park attractions that can help you earn a lot of money include It’s a Small World, the Monster Inc Laugh Floor, Space Mountain, and other stuff from various Disneylands all over the world.
In true Disney fashion, you’ll get to enjoy parades and light shows, with participation and cameos from such “historical” figures like Mickey Mouse, Rapunzel, Buzz Lightyear, Tinkerbell and a whole lot of Disney from over 90 years. Aside from building the theme park, you also get to go on fun quests and collect items to help you set free the various characters.
Disney Magic Kingdoms is now free to download from the Google Play Store. There are in-app purchases and it is also an ad-supported app. There are some regions where the game is not available yet, but hopefully, it will be a world-wide release soon.
