The setting of the game is Iran in the years 1978 to 1981. It’s one momentous revolution that you will have to live. You only have two weapons to use—your morality and camera. The hero of the game is a photojournalist name Reza who is caught in between two sides of the revolution. Reza stars in this documentary and game in one. It’s a unique game where you discover more about the 1979 revolution and its people. Players can be immersed in this engaging adventure for an “interactive filmic experience”.
There are eighty stories to discover with different topics ranging from political and historical insights, graffitis, home movies, photos, and social customs. Since Reza is a photojournalist, expect a lot of taking photos and exploring the revolution in Iran.
Believe it or not, the game features true stories based on testimonies from former Iranian freedom fighters, imprisoned enemies of the state, and witnesses. All are first person accounts so you know that the stories are realistic.
