Does anyone still remember the Jules Verne book or the subsequent movie, either the original or the remake, Journey to the Center of the Earth? Well, this new game is not related to that even if it has certain words and elements in common. Puzzle to the Center of the Earth (now you see?) is a unique blend of match three, platforming and digging game that should see you occupied enough to stop thinking about how this relates to the book or movie (really it doesn’t).

Now what is your version for wanting to reach the center of the earth? Maybe you want to see what is there or to look for gems and treasures? Whatever in is, this game will give you 80 levels to figure it out, along with the match three, puzzle solving and platforming. Along the way you will encounter creatures, try to overcome natural obstacles like lava, ice, water and evade traps as well.

You might think it’s that complicated, but if you’re used to match three type of games,it shouldn’t be that hard. In fact, the developer says they’ve designed it to be Used for one-handed game play on your smartphones (unless you can also play your tablet with one hand). You of course get the usual power ups, bonus points, social sharing to help you along the way.

Puzzle to the Center of the Earth is free to download from the Google Play Store. But there are certain items that can be purchased in-app so you can disable that feature if you don’t want to use it.
