A new app is available for Android devices called DataSize Explorer that is designed to let you find the files and apps that are taking up the biggest part of your device storage. The app has a simplistic interface that gives you a proportional visualization to look at.
Navigation within the app is done with up and down swipes to move through the hierarchy and you can use gestures to zoom in and out. The app supports internal storage on your device as well as external storage via SD cards.
The app has scan progress and zoom in and out animations. To select files requires a tap on the files and there are contextual menus providing access to open and delete commands.
Detailed file and app properties panels are offered along with the ability to display free space. The free version of the app does contain adds. The most recent update for the app added a long press to open the contextual menu. The app has had as many as 50,000 installs and is 2MB in size. Android 2.3.3 or higher is required and the current version is 1.02.
