Finally, the OnePlus One is getting a taste of the sweet Android Lollipop. This one is more special as it integrates the new Cyanogen OS 12. All OnePlus One units should be receiving the update notification any day of the week or beyond. Rollout only started yesterday but if you don’t have it yet, don’t worry, this particular software update is coming your way very soon. With the new Android Lollipop for Cyanogen OS 12, you’ll notice some sweet enhancements also brought about by the new Material Design language.
You’ll finally see how the Material Design elements made their way to Cyanogen OS 12. The visual, interaction, and motion design all look better in Cyanogen OS particularly for the OnePlus One. What’s new is the App Themer feature that offers free and premium themes–something that we mentioned last month.
Cyanogen also added a new email experience, support for Exchange, canned responses, and multiple account integration. The Boxer mail is more powerful than ever because you can choose different LED colors for notifications, as well as, customize bell and whistles.
