A new data plan is now available from Cricket Wireless. The prepaid mobile carrier has added new affordable monthly plans for those people who don’t want the burden of possible overcharges. For only $30 per month, you can enjoy the 1GB plan. That’s very cheap for for a high-speed data. Once your limit is up, Internet access will simply be throttled down to a lower speed.

If you buy a new smartphone from Cricket, you can choose to avail of this 1GB plan. So far, it’s the most affordable among the monthly plans offered by the carrier. Aside from 1GB, there’s the unlimited high-speed data worth $70, 10GB for $60, 5GB for $50, and 2.5GB for 40. The prices are per month but you can get a $5 discount with Auto Pay.

How is the Cricket a better choice than the other carriers? Cricket Wireless says its data is fast at 8 Mbps on LTE and 4Mbps on 4G. The mobile carrier offers a number of phone choices today like the ZTE Sonata 3, Kyocera Hydro VIEW, Alcatel STREAK, LG X power, ZTE Grand X Max 2, Alcatel IDOL 4, and the Lumia 650 as the sole handset. Even the iPhone 5C and 5S are eligible for this offer. If you’re having a hard time deciding, maybe the fact that the Alcatel IDOL 4 offers a new virtual reality experience will.

  1. That’s very cheap??? Are you serious? The data cost is $10 for 1GB – this is reasonable price today. Project Fi from Google will give you unlimited calls, texts and 1GB of data for $30.
    T-Mobile gives you 2 gigabytes of data for $20 per month for data only.
    Charge offers pay-as-you-go data on Sprint’s network at just $15 per GB, or $13 per GB when you buy 3GB or more.
    Verizon’s data-only plans enable you to share data across multiple devices, and you can choose among a number of different options, including 2GB for $20 per month, 4GB for $30 per month, 6GB for $40 per month, 8GB for $50 per month.
    How is $30 for 1GB data only on Cricket cheap???
