AT&T’s very own Cricket Wireless brand is working to bring more consumers better deals and premium devices. The prepaid mobile carrier recently launched new Phone Payment Plans that include the newest Samsung flagship– the Samsung Galaxy S6. We’re not sure if the Galaxy S6 edge is part of Cricket‘s plans but the Galaxy S6 offer is already a great deal especially for fans of Samsung Android phones.
The Cricket Wireless Phone Payment Plans are ideal for those people who prefer flexible payment plans without having to worry about their bills ballooning because of unknown calls, SMS, or data use. It’s easy to buy a prepaid plan from Cricket, just go to any Cricket store, ask if you qualify, and if approved, choose the smartphone you want. You can pay as low as $19.99 for downpayment with the monthly payment plan you prefer.
Let’s take a look at the new payment plans being offered by Cricket Wireless:
• Tier I: $19.99 downpayment, 0% interest for 24 months
• Tier II: $19.99 downpayment, six-month deferred interest, 29.99% APR for 18 months. No interest if paid off in six months, monthly payments to be determined.
• Tier III: Rent-to-own leasing option for 90 days. Pay $49.99 initial rental payment and pay the rest in installments. No need for credit check.
Cricket Wireless aims to bring more affordable and budget phones and payment plans for those people who are not “always sure if they can fit it in their budget”. Cricket Wireless’ Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Janna Ducich said,“The Cricket Phone Payment Plans were created to simplify financing and make it quicker and more affordable to get the premium devices you want and need, when you want and need them.”
The Samsung Galaxy S6, the ZTE Grand X Max+, and other units priced over $199.99 can be availed with the new phone payment plans. You can buy up to five mobile devices and plans per account from Cricket. Or if you wish to switch from T-Mobile, Verizon, Boost, or Metro-PCS, Cricket will give you a free month of service once you complete two months of either the $50 or $60 monthly plan.
As for the pricing of the new plans, Basic, Smart, and Pro plans are $35, $45, and $55, respectively, after a $5 monthly Auto Pay credit. Smart and Pro plans also include unlimited messaging and calling to Mexico from the United States.
