If you’re a golf super fan for the past decade or so, then you probably played the classic console game Neo Turf Masters, which was launched back in 1996. Developers DotEmu announced last May that they will finally be bringing the game to Android, and now that day has come. You will now be able to play this golfing game on your Android smartphone or tablet, and you can also play it using controllers on your gamepad device or Android TV.
If you’ve never played this game before, but would like to virtually hit the greens so to speak, this is a local turn-based multiplayer game, which means you don’t have to be online to be able to play it. You of course play a competitive golfer that gets to compete in various tournaments around the world. You can choose from among the six available golfers in the game and they come from six different countries, namely Australia, Brazil, Germany, Japan, the US, and the UK.

Each of these golfers have various skill sets and when you choose one to play, you also get to develop their golfing skills. You can choose to do stroke play or match play and go up the leaderboards as you continually play. The game has of course been optimized for the touch screen interface, but it also comes with gamepad support and for Android TV as well.

You can download Neo Turf Masters from the Google Play Store for $2.99. That is an all-in price with no more in-app purchases available.
