Challenge your cerebral cortex with Words Brain Challenge

There are people who love playing games that practice their hand-eye coordination. Then there are those thrive on number games. But if you’re one of the mobile gamers who get excited about letters and words, then we’re talking to the right crowd. A new game for Android devices called Words Brain Challenge is exactly what it says it is, a game set to challenge your cerebral cortex, or where language and word processing happens in your brain.

The basic idea of the game is for you to guess the word when only the first and last letters are given on the screen. But don’t worry, the other letters in the word are also there, just jumbled up below to confuse you. You can choose to play either the timed mode (if you like to be pressured into answering puzzles) or the relaxed mode (when you just want to solve the puzzle, but not the fastest way). There are also four different skills levels (Easy, Intermediate, Master, or Expert) so that you can see your progression as well.

If you’re feeling competitive (and usually, word game fanatics usually are) you can see where you are in relation to your friends and other players in the game’s various leaderboards. This game would be better though if you can actually challenge your friends, just like with Words for Friends and its ilk.
