OnePlus surprised the mobile industry last year by introducing another smartphone aside from the OnePlus 2. The OnePlus X was a welcome addition as people looking for more options now have a chance to check out the more affordable OnePlus phone. The Chinese OEM has always been on time when releasing fixes and software updates but unfortunately, the last update brought about some image corruption problem on a few units.
We have no idea what problems have been encountered exactly but the company just released a hotfix for the OnePlus X Camera issue. Hopefully, the error would be finally fixed.
If you own a OnePlus X, you may soon receive an notification that software update is ready. Rollout was incremental but no need to wait for days or weeks as OnePlus promised the update would be out within 48 hours. More good news? The update was actually released last Friday, February 25, so that means it’s now ready for your taking.
OnePlus still wants you to #NeverSettle but some people are actually waiting for the Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Oxygen OS on the OnePlus X. Now that’s something to look forward to. For now, enjoy the OnePlus X update and check if the camera problem is fixed.
