Maybe you’ve always had a secret dream of being a bug exterminator. Or maybe you really just hate bugs and want to kill them all with fire. But this new game from Noodlecake Studios, who are making a reputation in creating awesome mobile games, will let you go on a killing rampage over bugs with their game Bug Butcher (the name, obviously). The “intense action shooter” uses stylistic 2D art and easy to learn gameplay, combined with juvenile humor that should appeal to your inner child.
You play Harry, an in-demand bug terminator who has been hired by a futuristic research facility on planet Zoit. You have one job and that is to kill the infestation inside the facility to protect the scientists doing their job. And of course, you would have to survive and live through the whole decontamination process. You will go through each room, using whatever weapons are at your disposal, from lasers to rockets to lighting, to kill all the bugs and whatever creatures are there that want to devour the scientists.
The game uses old school classic arcade shooter mechanics, shooting vertically at anything that moves, but with a few twists along the way. And while the core mechanics are pretty easy to learn, as with a lot of addictive and great games now, they’re extremely hard to master. At least you get a lot of military grade arsenal to use just to be able to kill bugs and spiders and other creepy crawlies.
You can download Bug Butcher from the Google Play Store for $3.99. The good news is that it’s just a one-time payment and everything else there is free, with no in-app purchases.
