Here’s another strategy card game that will probably make you busy. There are numerous similar games already but only a few can capture a true geek’s attention. The indie card game has finally arrived on Android, ready to challenge players to become the ultimate villains. This dungeon-building card game can make the players become video game bosses. Who doesn’t want to become a boss at least once in his lifetime?

Many geeks are fans of the paper card game but good thing its creators from Brotherwise Games partnered with a video game developer to bring the game to life…err, in digital form. Plain Concepts, the same guys who made the Wave Engine, is proud to bring the digital version of the game to the Google Play Store.

The game features a retro-inspired pixel art (seems like it’s becoming a trend) for that retro-vintage-old-school gaming feel. You, as the player, are the video game boss that can send ghosts and goblins to haunt heroes. To build a dungeon, use Room Cards to attract heroes before slaying them. It will remind you of those classic video games of the 80s and the 90s plus some geeky pop culture according to the game developer.

It’s pretty much the same as the tabletop version. Instead of paper cards, you will have to play with virtual cards. You can play against a maximum of three AI opponents in solo play. Some rare out-of-print cards are also included so you can play with almost all bosses, rooms, and spells.

Game may sport a retro-inspired graphics but the cards have been enhanced digitally. See all four rooms, three new Bosses, and a new spell on the digital version of the game. Unlike the table version, the Boss Monster app allows stats and treasure values to be automatically updated as you play the game.
