Sony may have just announced the world’s slimmest tablet with the Xperia Z4 tablet, but already people are talking about accessories that can go with their future new gadget baby. Well if you plan to use it as your work station away from the office, then you definitely need the Bluetooth Keyboard BKB50 which can turn the tablet into a laptop/netbook so you can work easier and more conveniently.
While tablets are designed to be used on its own for you to swipe and touch away, there are times when you would need it to do more than just that, especially when you need to work on that document, spreadsheet, presentation, video, etc. The Bluetooth Keyboard is ergonomic and comfortable enough that you will not have any problem switching from it being a tablet to the Z4 Tablet becoming a laptop. Just dock the tablet onto the 383 gram and 254×170 mm keyboard and start using it. You can choose to use it as an integrated keyboard touchpad just like you would any laptop then switch to tablet touchscreen for the times when you think it would be better to touch your screen.
At just 6.1mm, the Xperia Z4 tablet will surely catch everyone’s attention at the ongoing Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Aside from its aforementioned thinness, it has a 10.1-inch 2K resolution display and will be powered by Snapdragon 810, just becoming the third device to use the newest processor from Qualcomm, the others being LG’s G Flex 2 and the HTC One M9. It is optimized to be used more as a media platform with its features, but of course that will not stop anyone from using it as a work station.
The Bluetooth Keyboard BKB50 is of course only compatible with the Xperia Z4 tablet and has both NFC and micro usb connectors (aside from the obvious Bluetooth connectivity) so you can use it with your tablet. There are no pricing or availability details yet.
