If you’re a huge fan of the popular Japanese anime Bleach, you were probably waiting and waiting and waiting for the international release of their first game, Brave Souls. This has been one of the most popular games in Japan since its launch last year, and now, finally, for real, it’s available for mobile gamers in the US. The rest of the world will probably have to wait a little longer, but if this becomes a huge hit too, you can expect it sooner.
Bleach is one of the longest running manga/anime series in Japan and it has gained a huge international fanbase as well. And now, you can relive the characters and even plot lines in this game called Brave Souls. The game follows the plot line of the series including certain pivotal scenes, but you get to choose how the characters develop. You get to play in the weekly leagues and battle against other online teams.
You get to choose which three characters will play on your team, even the ones who normally wouldn’t team up in the original series. You can level them up the more they play, train them on the Soul Tree to improve their stats, and even link characters together so they can be more powerful. Oh, and by the way, the original Japanese anime voice actors are the ones doing the voices here, so isn’t that awesome?
You can download Bleach Brave Souls from the Google Play Store for free. Some regions might still not carry the game, so let’s wait for further announcements. There are also in-app purchases available in case you want to hurry up some parts of the game.
