Will smart gloves soon have a place in the mobile industry? Looks like it since after the Super Soft Texting Gloves and the Bluetooth Beanie & Touchscreen Gloves, another pair wants to enter the scene. The BearTek Gen II Smart Gloves is a new project on Kickstarter that aims to revolutionize the smart gloves game. Not that there’s a smart gloves industry established already but there really is a need for hi-tech gloves to make those cold winter days still entertaining.
You can be comfortable and warm at home or even outdoors with the right clothes but it’s hard when you have to use your smartphone to make a call, text, check social media, or play games when you’re already bored. You need to wear gloves so you won’t get frostbite the few seconds or minutes you’re going to use your mobile phone. The BearTek Gen II is a pair of smartgloves that also works as a remote control. The remote control function lets you control your devices like a phone or a GoPro camera by simply touching some touchpoint on the gloves.
People may think you’re a magician with these gloves because you can still keep your device inside your pocket. You can change the volume, answer, hang up, or ignore a call or you may take a picture, record a video, power on/off, or activate the GoPro camera with the use of the BearTek Gen II. If you want to control music apps, you can use the gloves to play, pause, change volume, or move to the next track.
You have total control of your gadgets with the BearTek Gen II as you can customize the controls and features according to your needs. You can even set the gloves to send media files to your social media, and post photos or videos automatically to Instagram or Facebook.
BeakTek Gen II Wireless Smart Gloves project is listed on Kickstarter. The creators are hoping to raise $40,000 but as of this writing, goal has been met. Thanks to 143 backers who have generously given their money. Deadline is still a month from now so that means you can still give and send in your donation if you want to get your own pair of ‘BearTek Gen II: Wireless Smart Gloves’.
