The app developers probably believe that this kind of music should be shared, not just kept to yourself. But if you did want to just sing to your phone for yourself, you can do it. Just like if you’re in a studio, you can record yourself singing, and then enhance it later on. You can adjust the reverb, echo, distortion, vibrato, etc, plus a whole host of vocal effects that you can apply to your recording.

Record a song together or as a group with your new-found friends. And of course, share the final recorded piece with the community. Who knows you might get discovered as the new YouSing singing sensation, just like they do with Vine and YouTube, etc.
