We told you it was imminent. The recent internal leaks kinda pointed to this scenario, that AT&T would be launching the LG G Vista handset just a week after Verizon launched the same handset in its catalog. The LG G Vista boasts of a large 5.7-inch 1280×720 HD display, as well as current gen specs that could convince you to go big screen at a reasonable price range.

AT&T is offering the LG G Vista at USD$49.99 on a two-year contract and at USD$354.99 without one, which is pretty reasonable for its specs. The LG G Vista sports a 1.2Ghz Snapdragon 400 processor with an Adreno 305 graphics unit, paired with 1.5GB of RAM. It will run on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat out of the box, and it has 8GB for internal storage that can be expanded to 32GB via microSD.

The really solid spec for this phone is the 3200mAh battery which, even with a huge screen like that, should still last the phone more than a day on normal usage. The phone also uses the patented LG rear control buttons, plus an 8MP main shooter and a 1.3MP front-facing camera. Of course, no current gen LG phone will be complete without the KnockCode feature. See the video below for that.

As a tasty come-on, AT&T is also semi-bundling the LG G Tab 7.0 LTE which users can get at USD$0.99 if they purchase the LG G Vista with a 2-year contract. Pretty sweet deal, that one. The phone will be available online and at AT&T retail stores by August 22.
