The March 11 market release of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge is being highly anticipated since the official launch last month at the Mobile World Congress. Some people may have already received their orders much earlier than expected but AT&T here is trying to attract present and new customers to get the new premium flagship from them. Why, AT&T has just announced it’s ‘Buy One Galaxy S7, Get One Free’ promo. Sounds familiar? We heard the same idea earlier that T-Mobile is set to offer a Galaxy S7/S7 edge Buy One, Get One Promo based on a leaked memo. Looks likes AT&T has beaten T-Mobile in making an official announcement.
Such deals are not surprising but most of them are limited offers especially on expensive phones like the Galaxy S7. If you buy a new Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 edge, you can avail of another Galaxy S7 free only when you get a second line on AT&T under a Next Plan. It’s not as if you’re getting a free unit when you get a new Galaxy phone. You need to get another phone line so you still need to pay the monthly fee.
If you’re thinking of switching to AT&T, now is the best time because of this special offer. AT&T is also adding up to about $650 credits for each line if you are trading your old phone and get a new one from the mobile carrier. Simply get a new Galaxy S7/S7 edge as an upgrade or a new line. The second phone must be availed on AT&T Next 24 as a new line. You can also add the two phones to a qualified plan like Mobile Share Value. You can only receive the credit after three monthly bills. You can get up to $695 credit but spread out over the next 30 months. Note that both phones are still subject to tax.
