Avid ASUS fans will be happy to know that the Chinese gadget maker unveiled a number of new devices at the recent ZenFestival in New Delhi, India. New ZenPad and ZenFone models were finally announced. The company has finally given us a glimpse of the ASUS ZenPad 8.0, ASUS ZenPad 7.0, ZenFone Selfie, ZenFone 2 Deluxe, and the ZenFone 2 Laser.
The ZenFestival event was held in India at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, drawing a lot of people who want to know what ASUS has in store for the mobile market for the rest of 2015. Jonney Shih, ASUS Chairman, announced the new products that will soon be available in the Indian market. Together with ASUS Design Center Director Jen Chuang, Shih showcased the new phones and tablets they describe with “the perfect balance of beauty, functionality and performance”.
Each ZenFone or ZenPad device promises a premium and impressive mobile experience and solution to everyone. Here’s a rundown of the new ASUS tablets and phones:
ZenFone 2 Deluxe. Phone features a multifaceted polygonal design aesthetic. Specs include a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display, 2.3GHz 64-bit Intel Atom processor, 4GB RAM, 13MP and 5MP PixelMaster cameras, 4G/LTE connectivity, and ASUS’ very own BoostMaster fast-charge technology. For a customizable mobile interface, there’s the newest ASUS ZenUI.
ZenFone 2 Laser. This one boasts laser auto-focus technology and a 13MP PixelMaster camera with f/2.0 wide-aperture lens. You are guaranteed to capture high-resolution photos with this phone that also comes in 3 sizes (5-inch, 5.5-inch, and 6.0-inch), 1920 x 1080-pixel Full HD resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass 4 screen, maximum of 3GB RAM, and octa-core 64-bit Qualcomm® Snapdragon processor.
ZenFone Max. This unit features 13MP/5MP PixelMaster cameras, laser auto focus, wide f/2.0 aperture, near-instant focusing, ultra-high capacity 5000mAh lithium-polymer battery, 5.5-inch IPS display, wide viewing angles, Corning Gorilla Glass 4, 2GB RAM, and a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor.
The ZenFone Selfie comes with twin 13 megapixel PixelMaster cameras plus a dual-color and dual-LED Real Tone flash at both rear and front. There’s also the ZenPad 7.0 and ZenPad 8.0 tablets that boast a 7-inch and 8-inch screen respectively, customizable functionality, DTS-HD Premium Sound integration for a high-quality sound experience all the time.
