The ASUS C200 Chromebook has officially arrived for pre-order. The C200 Chromebook sports an 11.6-inch display and sits priced at $249. The notebook can be pre-ordered from Amazon and currently has an expected shipping date of June 26th.

Perhaps slightly more interesting here, it seems the larger C300 Chromebook will also be priced the same, at $249. The C300 Chromebook has a 13.3-inch display. But aside from the display size — the price being the same sort of makes sense as these two models are largely the same.

They both feature a 1366 x 768 display resolution and both are powered by Intel Bay Trail processors. More specifically, they both have Intel Celeron N2830 dual-core processors. Other spec related highlights include up to 10 hours of promised battery life, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal SSD storage and a microSD memory card slot.

Both the C200 and C300 Chromebooks also feature 720p webcams, WiFi, Bluetooth and HDMI as well as a single USB 3.0 port and a single USB 2.0 port. Lastly, the other difference between the two models comes down to size and weight. The C200 is 12 x 7.9 x 0.8-inches and 2.5 pounds and the C300 is 13 x 9.1 x 0.9-inches and 3.1 pounds.

Bottom line here, ASUS will soon be offering the 11.6-inch C200 and 13.3-inch C300 Chromebooks and the only deciding factor here will be which size display you want — as the prices will be the same.
