French phone manufacturer Archos is always busy releasing new phones almost every month. We were just introduced to the 4G-LTE-capable Archos Diamond Plus, Diamond Tab 4G tablet, the 50e Helium, Diamond S, 50d Helium only the previous summer. This time, Archos is rolling out the GranitePhone by SIKUR. It’s a new smartphone from another company that promises secure data and voice protection.
The GranitePhone was first showcased earlier at the Mobile World Congress. The phone was specially designed with tighter security and privacy in mind that’s why a number of private organizations, individuals, defense and government agencies took notice. SIKUR already received quite a number of pre-orders on its official Granitephone website.
Specs of the Granitephone include a 5-inch Full HD screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octa-core 64 bits CPU, Qualcomm Adreno 405 GPU, 16GB built-in storage, 16MP main camera, 8MP front-facing camera, and a 2700 mAh battery. The smartphone promises a number of things like a friendly interface, high levels pf encryption, various authentication layers, extremely private and secure environment, and a secure operating system known as Granite OS.
