While music streaming services have become the default way we listen to music nowadays, you don’t always have Internet connection to be able to access all your favorite tunes. That’s why a lot of these services also now have features to help you save your music offline. But sometimes, you don’t have enough space on your built-in storage. In the latest update for Apple Music for Android, that problem is now solved, as long as you have microSD card support and a microSD card itself.
That is the major thing that you can find in the latest update to Apple Music. You can now store more music offline because the app now allows you to save music directly to your microSD card. This means that potentially, your Android smartphone can hold even more music than the 128GB iPhone, that is if your phone can hold a microSD card that is bigger than 128GB. That’s a lot of music that can be listened to offline and will hopefully not interfere with your data allocation from your carrier.
There are two other things included in the update to Apple Music for Android. One is the ability to see the full schedule of Beats 1 shows so that you can easily tune in to those that you’d like to listen to. You can also now browse music through composers and compilations to make it easier for you to look for classical music and movie or TV show soundtracks.
You can update your Apple Music app now to enjoy these new features. If you don’t have it yet, you can download it for free from the Google Play Store. It’s still in beta and has a three-month trial period for now.
