If you do a lot of grocery shopping and you want to be more organized and digital about it, popular to-do app Any.do has something new and useful for you. The latest update to the app now includes a new grocery list so you won’t have to include it in your “normal” lists anymore. You’ll be able to sort them into categories, create different lists if you go to different groceries, share the lists with loved ones, and other pretty neat things you can do just to make your grocery shopping easier.
When you’ve updated to the latest version of the app, you’ll now see a Grocery icon at the top left corner of your phone’s screen. Tap on it and you’ll be led to the Grocery List menu and you can start creating your lists, as many as you want. The app will automatically sort the items into categories but you can also manually edit in case you prefer your own. The app has a quick-add bar in case you remember something on the fly. You can create a list per store that you go to as well. Once you’re doing your actual shopping, you can check, un-check, edit, or move to another category.
If you do grocery shopping with family members or housemates, you can also share the list with them so that everyone is on the same page as to what needs to be bought. If you use Alexa Shopping, you can also turn it into a grocery list on Any.do. You can also copy-paste online recipe ingredients directly onto your list and it will automatically categorize them as well. And if you prefer to have a hard copy of your list, you can also easily print any of your grocery lists.
The app currently has support for 10 different languages and they will be adding more soon. This feature was previously only available for iOS devices but now Android users can also enjoy it. You can update your Any.do app or if you don’t have it yet but are interested to try out the grocery list, you can download the app for free from the Google Play Store.
