The Any.do To-Do & Task list app has been available for Android for some time now, however there is a new addition that has arrived from the folks at Any.do today. The new addition is Any.do Cal, which as the name suggests, is a calendar app. The Any.do Cal app is free, touted as being a simple and smart calendar and perhaps key here, it should be a nice match for those already using the to-do and task list app from Any.do.
The Any.do Cal app supports devices running Android 4.0 or later and brings the features one would expect to see. Not to mention, a few additional items that may not have been expected. For example, if you live in a location where Uber is available, the Any.do Cal app will allow the user to get a ride with a single click. The app also supports both portrait and landscape views.
Otherwise, Any.do Cal is integrated with the Any.do to-do and task list app and also syncs with a variety of other calendar services. Those others include Google Calendar, Exchange, Outlook, Yahoo, AOL and while we aren’t expecting many Android users to get excited over this last, iCloud. The Any.do Cal app also has an available widget.
Some of the other perks of the app include having each day start with a new image, a reminder for someone’s birthday and location awareness that allows the user to find restaurants or other places for meetings. That said, the Any.do Cal app can be found in the Google Play Store, as well, the To-Do and Task List app remains available.
