As long as OEMs still haven’t discovered the secret to creating smartphones or tablets that can last longer than expected, we’ll always need power banks and other charging solutions, especially if we’re always on the go. There are many brands to choose from out there and Anker is one of those and they say they’re the leading USB charging brand in the US (aren’t they all?). They’ve just released two new products that are already available for purchase through Amazon.
The Anker PowerCore Speed 10000 is the smaller of the two and obviously, has a lower capacity as well. It uses the Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology and with its 10,000 mAh capacity, it will be able to charge your Samsung Galaxy devices at least twice. And because it is small, it’s not a hassle to carry it anywhere you’re going. It can even slip into your pocket in case you’re not carrying a bag wherever you’re going.
The slightly bigger and more powerful Anker PowerCore Speed 20000 boasts that it can charge a phone up to 6 times, tablets up to 2 times, and all other USB device charged for at least a week (again, depending on how long/often you use it). Just like the other powerbank, this one also uses Anker’s proprietary PowerIQ and VoltageBoost technology. It’s slightly bigger but still convenient enough for a 20,000 mAh powerbank.
Both of these powerbanks come with Anker’s exclusive MultiProtect which prevents them from overheating and keeps it cool even while you’re charging. The Anker PowerCore Speed 10000 is priced at $29.99 while the Anker PowerCore Speed 20000 is at $49.99. Both are available through Amazon.
