It really says something about us when we get all excited when someone mentions these two words: new emojis. And if you’re a SwifKey user, then you’re probably going to love this. The virtual keyboard app’s latest update brings all the new Android 6.0 emojis into your virtual keyboard. You now get to show someone you love them with a burrito or flip someone off either as a joke or maybe if you’re seriously angry.
The latest update for the SwiftKey for Android app shows that all 184 new and exiting emojis are now available for your device. This has actually been available in their beta version, but now, the emojis are there for the taking for anyone who has installed one of the more popular virtual keyboard apps. So even if you don’t have your Android 6.0 Marshmallow, at least you have new emojis to go along with your device.
The blog post shared some of their favorite new emojis, which includes the upside-down face (which can supposedly mean whatever it is you want to convey about an upside-down face); food-wise, we have a crab, burrito and bottle with popping cork (have those three at a party and you’re probably solved); and if you’re really pissed off at someone you’re talking to, you can send them the “reversed hand with middle finger extended”, and we all know what that’s code for.
There are also some change to existing emojis, like the pile of poo one now seems happier. You can update your SwiftKey to finally get these new emojis. And if you don’t have SwiftKey yet, you can always download it from the Google Play Store for free.
