T-Mobile has announced the upcoming availability of a pair of Alcatel smartphones. The models include the ONE TOUCH Fierce and the ONE TOUCH Evolve, both of which will be available beginning next month. Both handsets will have a varied rollout through the month of October and both will arrive with relatively low price points.
Beginning first with the ONE TOUCH Fierce (pictured above) and we find a handset that will be sporting a 4.5-inch qHD display with a quad-core 1.2GHz MediaTek processor. Other specs for the Fierce include an 1800 mAh battery, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and microSD card slot.
Shifting over to the ONE TOUCH Evolve (pictured below) and those considering a purchase can expect a handset with a 4-inch WVGA display and 1GHz MediaTek processor along with a 1400 mAh battery, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and a microSD memory card slot. The Fierce will be running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and the Evolve will be running Android 4.1.
T-Mobile will have the ONE TOUCH Fierce priced with a down payment of $19.99 and the Evolve with a down payment of $27.99. In addition to the down payments, there will also be some monthly payments. Specifically, 24 monthly payments. Those will be $6 per month for the Fierce and $3 per month for the Evolve. Both handsets will be available for use with the Simple Choice plans.
Lastly, we have the release dates. T-Mobile has said the Fierce and Evolve will be “available nationwide at select national retail stores beginning October 5.” From here the carrier has then said the Fierce will be available through participating T-Mobile retail stores, select dealers and online beginning October 23. The Evolve will be available for pre-sale beginning on October 14 with full availability set for October 16.
