More Alcatel smartphones are now available from Best Buy and Amazon. Those PIXI and POP series are getting new additions in the form of the POP 4 PLUS, POP 4S, PIXI 4 (5), and PIXI 4 (6). These devices are offered unlocked at affordable prices below $180. They’re considered as budget-friendly Android phones, good enough as entry-level phone, a second phone, or something to give for your children.
Alcatel is known for being affordable. The brand competes with several Chinese OEMs in churning out new smartphones regularly. The new phones are now available on Amazon and Best Buy which means anyone in the US can avail of them complete with a 2-year warranty.
Under the Alcatel POP line is the 4S and POP 4 PLUS. Both phones have a 5.5-inch screen, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front-facing shooter, Face Beauty camera setting, and Picture in Picture Mode. The difference the two lies in the display resolution and battery size. The Alcatel POP 4 PLUS only has a 720p HD display and 2500mAh battery while the POP 4S comes with a Full HD screen and bigger 2960mAh battery. The Alcatel POP 4S even features a built-in fingerprint sensor while the other POP phone doesn’t have one.
The Alcatel PIXI 4 (6) and PIXI 4 (5) differ in display screen size–6-inch and 5-inch. Both feature a quad-core processor and 4G LTE connectivity. The Alcatel PIXI 4 (6) boasts of an 8MP auto-focus camera, 5MP front-facing camera, Polaroid software, and an all-day battery life. Meanwhile, the Alcatel PIXI 4 (5) only has 5MP rear shooter, 2GB front-facing camera, and a 2000Mah battery .
