Developer Chris Lacy, maker of one of the best-known Android launchers out there in Action Launcher, is steadily upping his reputation as a developer who listens to his app’s users and brings the features they want at the soonest possible time. This is the case again with the latest update to Action Launcher, which brings lots of user requests to the app.
First up in the user-requested fixes is a new improved widget picker, for those having issues with the old one. Then Lacy brings out the big guns with a fully customizable “All Apps” grid, including giving the user control over the scale of the app icons. Would users want to be able to edit app labels in the “All Apps” grid and the Quickdrawer? Well, now they have that option as well. These are just a few of the many tweaks in this update.
But the big one for us is the developer’s decision to make “unlock” a lot more of the paid features for the non-paying users. As much as 70% of the locked features are now available for non-paying users of Action Launcher, which is pretty cool by our standards.
