Acer is one of those manufacturers who have not given up on Android tablets – they’re still making tablets. One of their upcoming tablet devices – the Acer Iconia One 10 – has just received FCC approval ahead of its launch which is reportedly pretty soon. This tablet is the upgrade to the tablet with the same name that was launched in 2017, and you should be able to expect substantial improvement in the specs and performance of this new tablet.
The Acer Iconia One 10 is a 10.1-inch tablet with a Full HD (1080p) display, powered by a MediaTek MT8167A processor, and supported by 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. This is a midrange tablet, from what these specs show – the MediaTek MT8167A processor is a quad-core processor that tops out at around 1.5GHz. The 2GB RAM will make sure you can multitask a bit.
According to FCC documents, the tablet will also have dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi support and Bluetooth 4.1. The new Acer Iconia One 10 will run Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box, and will have a 6000mAh battery to keep the lights on. Other features include stereo speakers located as a front facing sound bar, DTS X headphone support, a micro-USB port, and front and rear cameras.
Acer will surely have more details about this device soon, as the launch draws near. Watch out for this one, if you’re looking to get a new tablet.
