As Acer continues to step up its presence in the smartphone market, it’s releasing more and more low and high end devices to compete with the best. Continuing this push, Acer is taking aim at the LG Optimus One, and is releasing its own low-end Android 2.2 device.
The beTouch E140 will feature a 2.8-inch QVGA display, 600MHz processor, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3.2MP camera, and a FM radio and will go on sale for €199 (~$264) unlocked.
A decent phone for the price, plus it’s always nice to see these entry-level Android devices to ship with 2.2, now if only the other phone manufacturers could keep the updates steady.
