These advertisements for the Motorola Android devices, at least the ones that matter (not you, DEVOUR), are getting pretty ridiculous. And not in a bad way. We understand that Verizon’s pushing out a lot of money for marketing, and that’s why we’re going to keep seeing these ads that have the same kind of production values as a moderately good Sci-Fi flick on SyFy Channel (maybe that is a bad thing?). Either way, here’s another one for your viewing pleasure.
It’s called “Eagle Eye,” but it’s not showing the movie with the same name. Nope, you’ll be provided with a quick glimpse of one of the Bourne flicks . . . The only troubling thing is, the super-fast means that you get to watch that movie. Considering we’ve tried, at least a few times, to watch any one of the movies we’ve downloaded from Blockbuster as quickly as they showcase in this ad, we can safely say it doesn’t happen. We’d like it to, but it doesn’t. So, hopefully no one out there decides on this handset for that reason alone.
In any event, take a gander at the ad below, and let us know what you think in the comments. Do you think these commercials have the ability to bring new customers into the Android fold?
