Yahoo has finalized their own applications for Android 2.0 or later. They managed to create a Mail application, Messenger Application, and Search widget. The Mail application is just like any other Mail application which let you check, read, send and organize your Yahoo! mail from your phone. It also gives you access to your Yahoo! address book and you can apply Yahoo! emoticons in your text.
Next is the Messenger application. It will let you send messages, read them, also send pictures and more to your Yahoo!/MSN/Windows Live Messenger friends. Lastly, the Search widget. It’s a home screen widget that lets you easily have access to the Yahoo! search engine. The widget also allows you to search using text or voice command. Since this is an application for Android, it has the same capability as other Android application which can run in the background so you can still stay connected.
