The company will offer certain signature applications that are designed to help users customize their phones and tailor the device to their style and lifestyle. The goal is to allow customers to access content and stay connected with apps from Motorola partners ready to go.
Motorola specifically says it is collaborating with Accuweather, Amazon MP3 Barnes & Noble, CardStar, and more on the program. Motorola supports its developers through its Motodev program for developers and software partners. The Motodev environment offers multiple distribution channels including the Android Market and more.
