Last week the wraps came of the first Motorola Android-powered handset called the Cliq. We already know most of what there is to know about the device, save the key detail of launch date.
When first announced Motorola only said, the device would hit T-Mobile later this fall. Electronista reports that a roadmap for Motorola has surfaced that pegs the launch date for the Cliq as October. Specifically, mid-October is the time frame and the device is rumored to sell for about $400 sans contract.
In case you missed the announcement last week, the Cliq has a 5MP camera, GPS, Wi-Fi, and a 3.1-inch 480 x 360 resolution touch screen. The handset is expected to ship with Android 2.0 installed.
