We always feature durability tests by Zack Nelson but drop tests…not much. JerryRigEverything doesn’t really test everything nor he always does drop those gadgets to check if they’re sturdy. When drop test videos drop, we usually cringe at the thought of destroying premium flagship phones. Well, that’s how it is in gadget town…and umm, YouTube. Not many vloggers can afford to destroy stuff but good thing there are sponsors. The mere mention of brands and products is enough to calm you down that your favorite YouTuber didn’t spend a dime to destroy a new phone you’ve been eyeing. He’s not spending anything. In fact, he’s about to make more money with all the views.
Zack wanted to know which phone would survive a series of drop tests. The new Apple iPhone XR and the Google Pixel 3 were the subjects of a Drop Test. We counted a total of eight (8) for each of the two.
First drop from about a feet height…
Next drop from about two to three feet–pocket-level as it what usually happens…
So far…cracked corners…
Still safe…
