Before the Mobile World Congress, an Alcatel 3V promo video was published and we soon learned the entry-level phone will be out in the US soon. The phone may be a budget device but it already boasts a dual rear camera system plus a large 6-inch screen with 18:9 display, fingerprint sensor, Face Key, and split-screen mode. The phone comes with a 3D curved back for an ergonomic grip. Back then, we had no idea about pricing and availability but today, TCL is sharing more details about the budget smartphone.
The Alcatel 3V’s display is near bezel-less with 18:9 aspect ratio. The 6-inch screen only offers 2K resolution but it’s decent. For a low-priced device, it makes an impression with the dual main camera setup, Face Key, and fingerprint sensor for mobile security. We can consider this as another feature-packed phone ready with a sub $150 price.
The phone is offered unlocked in the US via Amazon. This means you can use it with any SIM on supported GSM network. It will be up for sale beginning next week for $149.99. For such price, you can already enjoy dual camera experience, reliable mobile security with Face Key, and 2K display that lets you preview hi-res movies. You can browse the Internet with speed and connect with your friends with ease right on the phone.

The Alcatel 3V is the first phone to use such design philosophy and be released in the United States by TCL. If you may remember, it was first presented during the MWC 2018 in Barcelona back in February.
