We’re not much familiar with Master & Dynamic but this isn’t the first time we’re learning about the brand. We’ve heard of the MW50 Wireless On-Ear Headphones and the MA770 Wireless Speakers from last year. The on-ear pair from 2016 is getting a follow-up just now in the form of the MW50+ 2-In-1 Wireless On + Over-Ear Headphones. We’re guessing this will be a step-up of the older model. The plus sign refers to the On-ear and Over-ear styles that make it comfortable and best-in-class as described.
The MW50+ 2-In-1 is built to last a long time. It offers a rich audio, long battery life (up to 16 hours), plus the interchangeable and comfortable on and over-ear ear pads. The latter is made of memory foam wrapped in lambskin leather. You will get two sets of lambskin ear pads with every pair.
The headphones feature intuitive controls for a more tactile experience. The 40 mm Beryllium drivers allow high-performance and excellent audio quality. When you need to speak, the dual microphones allow an omnidirectional and noise-isolation for superior audio quality.
Other features of the products include a rotating hinge that folds flat, aluminum antenna, Bluetooth 4.1 with aptX high-quality audio, 32 ohms impedance, detachable 1.25m standard cable, USB-C charging cord, and a 3.5mm Passive Audio input. Price tag reads $399.
