OnePlus may be busy working on the OnePlus 6 but it’s not slowing down anytime soon. The devs have been testing the device, dropping hints, and then showing teasers left and right, but the Chinese OEM is not settling with the new flagship offering. The company has just rolled out another round of open beta builds for the OnePlus 5 and 5T. OxygenOS Open Beta 10 is ready for the OnePlus 5 while the OnePlus 5T is getting the Open Beta 8.
These open beta builds are almost similar as per the release notes available. The system updates Android security patch to May while the Launcher receives a number of new features including a Toolbox Card in shelf, Hidden Space in the app drawer, and support for editing dynamic icons like weather, clock, and calendar.
The OnePlus Switch also receives an optimized user interface for backup and restore plus and optimized logic for the time remaining. Group MMS is also now ready while general bug fixes and stability improvements can be received as well.
The builds are only beta software so bear in mind they’re not as stable. They will be received as an OTA if an Open beta is previously running on a device. If not, the software can be downloaded and flashed from HERE.
