A new flagship smartphone from HTC is coming. We’ve been featuring the HTC U12 with a full-screen bezel-less display since early January. Also known as the HTC Imagine, this Android smartphone was shown off at a tech event. Specs were revealed and we learned it may feature a matte white metal and glass body. Rumor has it the device will be the U12+ and not U12 and that it may only be the next-gen premium flagship from the brand. Live photos of the HTC U12+ appeared online before the grand reveal but the U12 was leaked for a while by Verizon Wireless.
HTC recently tweeted that a phone is coming soon– “a phone that is more than the sum of its specs”. There is no other image just this flat lay of the components inside. We can’t detail the specs but we can see a dual camera system. We can see a fingerprint sensor which confirms the images shown off earlier.
Here are some specs we know so far: 6-inch Super WQHD LCD screen, 18:9 display, Gorilla Glass protection, dual rear cameras, 4K video recording, Bluetooth 5.0, Quick charge 1.0 technology, 3500mAh battery, IP68 dust- and splashproof rating, and of course, HTC Sense Companion and HTC USonic.
HTC will be revealing the HTC U12 or HTC U12+ on May 23, 2018, Wednesday. Let’s just wait and see.
