If you wrote down a nice Android tablet on your Christmas wish list and you still have Samsung on your nice (not naughty) list even after the whole Note 7 debacle, then you might want to check out what some say is their best tablet to date. The Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 is available on Amazon for $150 off its regular price so you can just get it at $250, only until December 25. It is a sleek, thin device that Samsung says will give you “ultra-fast performance” and if you get it now, you get to save some money that you can use for other Christmassy things.
The tablet has an 8-inch display, as its name says, with a 2048 x 1536 Super AMOLED screen. It’s a little wider than the usual ones out there but it’s thin and light enough that you can just use it with one hand and it is comfortable in both landscape and portrait. It is powered by a 1.9GHz tablet processor, has 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage, which you can still expand up to 128GB through a micro-SD card.
The Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 is a WiFi only tablet so those specs are already pretty decent. It may already be a year old, but it is still pretty good, and some might say even better than most of the Android tablets that have come out this year. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, but it probably won’t be updated to Nougat, which isn’t really a deal breaker for some.
You can get it at just $250 until December 25 through Amazon.com. It will probably revert back to its original price of $399, unless they decide to keep it at $150 cheaper for a longer time or even forever.
