There are now two sets of renders out in the open for the alleged Huawei P10, successor to the Ldual-camera wielding Huawei P9. The first one was released through Weibo around 6 days ago, and it did look pretty official. Three days after, another batch of renders came out, with virtually the same aesthetics except the home button is now gone.
The first set of renders of an alleged variant of the Huawei P10 showed a sleek looking dual-curved display. This early leak comes with a physical Home button just below its display – which is curious because the Huawei P9 did not have a physical home button. The back is also exposed, showing the fingerprint sensor as well.
The second set of renders are virtually of the same device, but this time without a home button in sight. In its stead, the Huawei logo was transferred to bottom of the screen, a curious placement. These details will get clearer as days pass by – with a launch scheduled possible in Q2 of 2017.
What is still common is that both variants show a dual Leica-branded camera setup, rumored to have been upgraded to 16MP this time round. We don’t have solid info on the build right now, but we hope you can stick around for that.
