The ZUK Edge is coming. It’s almost here and before you start your holiday shopping, you may want to wait and consider this ZUK Edge. It’s a new smartphone from the Chinese OEM that was spotted on AnTuTu last week. Enough of speculating and depending on rumors as Lenovo ZUK’s CEO just confirmed the phone’s arrival happening next week. The ZUK Edge will be launched first week of December.
No information on exact date has been given yet but we’ve seen renders already and they’re legit. Lenovo ‘s former VP Chang Cheng is now the CEO of ZUK. He shared the news and the official images on Weibo so we know this isn’t just a leak. It’s more like a teaser for next week’s grand reveal.
Aside from AnTuTu, the ZUK Edge was also sighted in TENAA recently. So far, we know the smartphone will boast of a 5.5-inch Full HD screen, 1080 x 1920 display, 4GB RAM, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset, 32GB or 64GB onboard storage, 8MP front-facing camera, 13MP main camera, and a 3000mAh battery.
Out of the box, the unit will be ready with Android 6.0 Marshmallow topped by ZUI 2.0 skin. Sadly, it’s not Nougat yet but this one already comes with a fingerprint scanner for added mobile security.
